Hello, and welcome to another episode of Conversations about Men, with your host Gonzalo Salinas.  I’ve been looking forward to this interview because our guest is one of the most authorized voices, in sacred medicine from the Amazon rainforest, especially Ayahuasca.
I’m talking about Dr. Joseph Tafur.  Dr. Tafur is a medical doctor graduated from the University of California in San Diego School of Medicine (UCSD).  When he became a doctor, he decided to study the world of sacred plants so he immersed in the peruvian Amazon reainforest to become a curandero.
Today, he is supervises the operations of Nihue Rao healing center in Peru, that he founded a few years ago. He is a usual speaker on many places, including MAPS Psychedelic Science Conferences.  Dr. Tafur presented his book “The Fellowship of the River” (a masterpiece about Ayahuasca and Sacred plants) at the ICEERS World Ayahuasca Conference.
Without further due, here is my conversation with Dr. Joe Tafur.
